About Cahaves
What the house is for.
Cahaves is a house brand. Two businesses and a research arm, one mark, and a rule that the surface says which. This page states what that means and what it does not.
The house
Why one mark
One mark names every product. The surface says which.
Three logos would be three brands, and a customer who trusts one would have no reason to trust the next. A single drawn mark with a typeset product word after a hairline rule keeps the house legible while letting each business be priced, sold and run on its own terms.
What it is not
- Not one product with modules
- Tech, Studios and Labs are run separately, and Tech's products, Hisabin, Cahaves Cloud and Storefront, each have their own customers and prices. A house-wide plan would be a number nobody could honour.
- Not a rebrand of one thing
- The mark came first and Tech, Studios and Labs hang off it. That is why the lockup adds a typeset word after a hairline rule rather than redrawing itself per product.
- Not a roadmap
- What Labs publishes is findings and prototypes. Research that has to promise a ship date stops being research.
