What it does
- The host is ours to patch
- You own the operating system on the instance. The hypervisor, the network and the physical machine underneath are maintained by us, and none of that maintenance is a window you have to book.
- Destroying it stops the bill
- Billing is hourly, so an instance you spin up for an afternoon costs an afternoon. There is no minimum term and nothing to cancel.
- Snapshots without a ticket
- Snapshot, restore and rebuild are yours to run. Anything you can do to a machine, you can do without asking us first.
- One bill, read per project
- Cost is attributed to the project that caused it. A number you cannot attribute is a number you cannot act on.
